The parlour in Whitehall.
The following photographs show interior views of Whitehall, which was George Berkeley's home in Rhode Island from 1729 to 1732. These illustrations are reproduced with permission of the National Society of the Colonial Dames in the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations (founded 1890), who restored the house and now maintain it. This house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The rooms contain period furnishings, although not the Berkeley family's original personal belongings.
